Exhibitions of the NSTM can be divided into permanent exhibitions and temporary exhibitions.
For permanent exhibitions, the NSTM has different theme exhibition halls displaying the development and application of science and technology as well as the Chinese achievement in science and technology. Most exhibitions are interactive, hoping to educate the public with the hands-on experience.
The NSTM works to introduce a variety of temporary exhibitions throughout the year, so that visitors can see the diversity of science, technology and culture.
