The exhibition highlights the traditional craft of rice straw sandals, presenting the complete process—from pounding and rubbing the straw to weaving the uppers—showcasing the frugality, wisdom, and aesthetics of rural life. Featured works include Dr. Ming-Feng Wang’s innovative sandal designs that merge traditional craftsmanship with modern creativity, demonstrating the diverse potential of rice straw.
