【NSTM’s collections】Electrotype Casting Machine

In 1888 electrotype casting machine was invented by using electricity or gas as its power instead of man. In late 1950s, Pu Wen Type Foundry used it, which was able to make 120 to 150 types per minute, to replace the manual one.  In addition to the type casting machines, there were also others which were able to make line bars, quad, headlines, special types…etc. to improve the efficiency of casting.
