Description
The LOHAS Energy Conservation House is the first energy-saving demonstration home in southern Taiwan, showing how everyday families can save electricity and enjoy a more comfortable life.
Since opening in 2008, it has become one of the most important energy education spaces in southern Taiwan.
With support from the Energy Administration and Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), the house brings together high performance building design, efficient home appliances, and clean energy solutions to create a real, livable example of an energy-saving home.
In this new upgrade, the first and second floors are designed as real home living spaces. Visitors can see common household appliances, try energy-saving habits, and learn useful tips through interactive multimedia and fun games. The experience encourages everyone to “learn by doing” and discover simple ways to save energy in daily life.
Inspired by the energy efficiency mascot “Ah Kuang,” this exhibition recreates his home to integrate energy-saving concepts into everyday life. Through interactive games and immersive experiences, visitors learn by doing, making energy conservation easy, enjoyable, and engaging — and stepping up to become energy-saving heroes.
Group visits are welcome to book guided tours in advance.
Individual visitors can explore the exhibition freely at their own pace.
