“The Future of Kaohsiung- Kaohsiung City Primary and Secondary School Science Fair”
2009 (49th) Kaohsiung City Primary and Secondary School Science Fair
Kaohsiung City Bureau of Education teams up with the National Museum of Science & Technology to host the Kaohsiung City 49th Kaohsiung City Primary and Secondary School Science Fair; the event is co-organized by Zheng-Xing Junior High School, and the competitions and activities will be launched on April 23rd. This year's theme is “The Future of Kaohsiung”, and aims to encourage the potential of young students and inspire creativity.

This year's Science Fair is arranged in four groups- Primary School, Junior High School, High School, and Technical School. A total of 417 projects entered the competition for six major categories- physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, mathematics, and applied science. The science projects are fun and interesting and will be judged on April 23rd. The winners will be selected onsite and an award ceremony will be held 9:30am on April 25th at the Triangular Hall of the Museum. The award ceremony will commend the outstanding winners and the event is open to the public for free. Teachers and students will have free access to the exhibitions during the Science Fair upon presentation of IDs. An event filled with infinite creativity will be launched at the National Science and Technology Museum and you are invited to this annual festivity of fun creativity.
