The museum offers internship opportunities each year based on the needs of its various departments. Applications are generally accepted from March to April annually.

Students may apply through either of the following channels:

• School nomination: An official letter from the student's educational institution (including the relevant department).
• Faculty recommendation: A recommendation letter from the department chair or academic advisor.

Application materials should be submitted directly to the Public Services Division for processing.

In special circumstances, and with the approval of the relevant department, students may submit applications outside the regular application period following the procedures described above.
