Description:
This exhibition is cooperated by the National Science and Technology Museum and the Bureau of Cultural Heritage, Ministry of Culture and it’s the first time that underwater archaeology exhibits in Southern Taiwan.  By using interactive multimedia installations such as 360-degree Theater, VR (virtual reality), and AR (augmented reality), the exhibition creates an underwater shipwreck scenario with underwater archaeological work scenes.  It presents the history of Taiwan’s shipwrecks and the achievements of underwater archaeological works in recent years by bringing the visitors a fun and accessible experience and promotes the core value of underwater cultural heritage.  There are 6 themes for visitors to explore: Underwater Time Capsule, Exploring the Sea Surrounding Taiwan, Returning to Underwater Sites, Technology for Underwater Archaeology, Revealing the Sunken Truth, and Sustainability and Promotion to promote the core value of underwater cultural heritage.  Welcome to the "Underwater Archaeology" Exhibition and enjoy your trip here!
