Opening Hours & Ticket Prices
    Opening Hours:
  • The Museum is closed on Mondays, Lunar New Year's Eve and Lunar New Year (open on Monday if
    　　it is a public holiday or make-up holiday). Other closing dates will be announced separately.
  • The Museum is open between 9AM and 5PM.
  • Tickets to the exhibition galleries will be sold from 8:45AM to 4PM.
  • IMAX® Theater and ticketing times will be posted on the ticket booth as well as on the website.

Seniors over the age of 65, handicapped handbook holders and their companions (one companion for one holder at most), retired military/civil servant/teacher, veterans, teachers, honorary volunteers, tour guides (certified by the Tourism Bureau), the family of civil servants killed in the line of duty.

　Ticketing Hours: 8:45 ~ 16:00

　A photo is required to apply for a membership card. Photograph service is available at the Museum for an additional $40 in processing fee. 　Applicants may also bring their own photo (must be clearly identifiable).

　Admission Rules

　1.

The 1st and 4th session on weekdays are only shown for group reservations made in advance.

　2.

The 8th session on weekdays is the “Family Session” and is open to children under 90cm. Children under 90cm may not enter the theater at other times.

　3.

The audience may begin entering the theater 10 minutes before the movie begins. One can still purchase tickets and enter the theater after the movie begins but must leave when the movie ends.

　4.

Only 1 concession ticket may be purchased through the Expert or Museum Card. 

　5.

Family Card holders may purchase 1 general group concession ticket for each IMAX® Theater session.

　6.

Robot Card holders may purchase student group concession ticket for each IMAX® Theater session.
