The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with continuing education institutions, promotes vocational and technical education through diverse formats. The first and second phases of the “Vocational Exploration and Experience Permanent Exhibition,” held at the National Science and Technology Museum from 2019 to 2024, were considerably popular.
Vocational Tech 2.0 returns with a fresh look! To catch public's attention to vocational and technical education, the exhibition offers engaging displays to promote understanding of vocational education categories among elementary and middle school students (and their parents). Featuring research and development devices and exhibits from seven major career categories, along with workplace VR experiences, the exhibition will provide you a new vision of vocational tech. Come discover the advantages of vocational education, understand your personal strengths, and experience the skills associated with various career fields, and have a full grasp of the characteristics and future potential of vocational tech.
The exhibition’s target audience has been refocused on middle school teachers, students, and parents. They all require more clarification and mutual understanding regarding students’ career development guidance and decision-making, playing crucial roles in emotional support and recognition.
“A New Horizon for Technological and Vocational Education” is scheduled to run until March 1, 2025. Following this, from 2025 to 2027, the third phase of the “Vocational Sustainability Trailblazer Project” will update its exhibits and promote vocational education through a dual approach of “career exploration” and “aptitude-based development.” This aims to enhance career identification and a sense of hope within vocational education, aspiring to become a sustainable trailblazer for Taiwan’s vocational and technical education. Please stay tuned.
