  • Exhibition date: Permanent exhibition

Description

This area focuses on science in daily life and traffic safety knowledge, divided into two main sections: the “Fun City Shopping District” and the “Children’s Traffic Park.” This mini-city, created in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ Road Traffic Safety Supervision Committee, allows visitors to experience and learn about traffic safety rules through features like traffic lanes, sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, pedestrian traffic signals, and various commercial buildings.

Shops line up on both sides of the streets in the mini-city’s road layout. Hopefully, every young visitor will become the protagonist of the city and learn to navigate safely in the city with the appropriate conceptions that the experiences convey.

The Fun City Shopping District includes nine areas: “Cake Shop,”
“Dental Clinic,” “Environmental Protection Company,” “City Public Works Bureau,” “Flower Shop,” “Grocery Supermarket,” “Vehicle Repair Shop,” “Freight Company,” and “City Radio Station.” These areas guide children to explore different aspects of daily life, allowing them to fully experience science in everyday situations.

The “Build. Create. Benefit. Play - Children’s Block Experience Area” offers a variety of blocks for children to freely use. Here, children can learn to construct, arrange, classify, and assemble, while also stimulating their perception of colors and shapes, and enhancing hand-eye coordination and hand muscle development.

This exhibition hall is suitable for children aged 3 to 8. Each session lasts 50 minutes and can accommodate up to 100 people. For details of sessions, please refer to the published schedule of Fun City.
