To increase interest among younger generations to join environmental education, Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) has been hosting the Climate Change Painting Competition for 12 years since 2009. This year, the painting competition theme is “Good Mealtime on Earth,” which stands for the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). The event is to raise public awareness of food issues, and young and adult participants will discuss the topics of recycled tableware and how to support local farmers.
 
All awarded artworks in domestic group will be exhibited in the MRT Zhongxiao Fuxing station and the National Science and Technology Museum. We expect that the younger generation’s artworks will present their deep concerns and actions on climate change to the public.
 
The Climate Change Painting Competition is co-supervised by the Ministry of Education, the Environmental Protection Administration, and the Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan.
